Olds College and the Field Crop Development Centre (FCDC) are thrilled to host the Lacombe Field Day on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.
Presented by Alberta Barley, this annual event will dive deep into the amazing research and industry collaboration taking place at the Olds College FCDC in Lacombe, Alberta.

When: Wednesday, July 27 from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: South of Lacombe on Highway 2A, 1/4 mile south on Rg Rd 270
Learn from FCDC Research Scientists and Associates, as well as industry professionals, during in-field presentations which highlight malting barley, quality, feed and forage, biotech, pathology and the triticale breeding program. The Lacombe Field Day will also showcase a variety of demonstrations, including soil sampling, weighing samples and more.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. followed by welcome messages at 9 a.m. to begin the program. Guests will break into groups for the in-field tour and presentations, with lunch being served at 12:30 p.m. The afternoon will be an opportunity to network and take in some visual demonstrations.
