Uploading and utilizing prescription files for variable rate (VR) fertilizing, seeding and spraying is challenging due to different file formats and various models of displays being used in the field. Olds College is resolving these difficulties by developing user-friendly manuals detailing the process of importing and exporting prescription files onto different displays. This will help producers avoid delays caused by failure in loading of prescription files onto their displays and aid the adoption of variable rate prescription technology.
