Every year the Olds College Students’ Association (OCSA) holds elections for executive positions. These positions are:
- President – Coordinates, motivates, and directs various individuals involved with Student Board of Directors (SBOD). Provides student representation on the College Board of Governors, and handles the administration of the OCSA among various other duties.
- Internal Vice President - a member of SBOD, fulfills the duties of President if the President is unable to complete their obligations. As well as sitting on various committees and boards of the college.
- Academic Vice President – Acts as a student advocate and represents OCSA on all committees specifically dealing with the Olds College Academic and Disciplinary policy.
- Activities Vice President – Plans, coordinates, and supervises OCSA events of all kinds with the Activities board and OCSA General Manager. They also sit in different boards and committees throughout the college.
- Communications Vice President - Coordinates visits to Olds College Campuses, assists clubs in planning and coordinating their events and sits on various committees and boards at the college.
Election campaigns are currently under way, early voting has already been completed, and the actual voting day is March 17th. There will also be an All Candidates Forum in the gymnasium at Frank Grisdale Hall March 16th, where nominees can discuss why students should vote for them.
