The first year Fashion Apparel students got to go on a wonderful field trip last week. The costume archives!!! I could go on and on forever about the amazing hats, shoes, and clothing in the archives. It’s amazing how well things have been looked after, and just how well made these pieces are, especially when you think about the fact that they were generally hand made! These red silk shoes with the flower detail are a big favorite of mine, as well as this crazy blue feathered hat. I feel safe in saying that this was the best field trip ever!

Wow that is amazing. Do you know what performance the blue hat was from?
