Olds College Advancement is launching the Olds College Online Auction today. The Online Auction is an “opportunity to raise project/operational funds and the profiles of the Olds College programs and students.”
The funds from the Online Auction will not only assist Olds College in continuing “educational priorities and unanticipated opportunities for students and faculty, awards and research, and campus enhancement for which funding would not otherwise be available,” it also offers companies and businesses opportunities for advertisements directly on the Auction site.
“Our goal is to provide a year round auction site that raises funds for all of our schools as well as Broncos Athletics. The auction site is a great opportunity for each area of the College to get involved, solicit items while showcasing their school or area, and create fun rivalries. The site will hopefully grow to be a major auction site that extends well beyond the community of Olds,” says Jen Donofrio, Development Officer, Olds College Advancement.
A variety of donations and donation types are welcome. Antiques, appliances, automotive, children’s toys, clothing/memorabilia, collectibles, electronics, entertainment, farm supplies, food and cooking, framed prints, furniture, hardware, home supplies, jewellery, landscaping, outdoor living, sporting goods, services, gift certificates, event tickets, and monetary donation by a company or business. Olds College Advancement also appreciates any other suggestions or items from our donors.
Accessing the Online Auction site is easy and auction items will be online and available for bidding for 2 – 3 weeks.
