REPORTS TO: Lead Stylist, Account Coordinator, Account Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Off-Figure/Product stylist who is a highly creative, resourceful person with an eye for aesthetics, flair for fashion, and keen interest in pursuing a styling career with still-life, catalog, or online retail photography. This individual will also require a strong attention to detail and quality control. Working with our lead stylist, in-house studio team as well as our Creative and Accounts teams, this individual has the ability to collaborate and take direction, producing the highest quality images for our Client. This is a freelance position, but due to the volume of projects per season, this stylist will be in high demand for the majority of the year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Styles apparel and hard goods for still-life photography following established guidelines, brand aesthetics, and business priorities as outlined by the Agency and Client.
• Works with the Photographer to ensure all product details are shown and representative of the Client.
• Collaborates with Art Directors and Designers to concept, style, and prop requested products
• Works closely with Account and Merchandise Coordinators to manage and prioritize the pace of shots on a daily and weekly basis to ensure all photography is completed in a timely manner.
• Ensures all necessary samples are in-studio, steaming and prepping samples prior to photo shoots.
• Trains with Lead Stylist on efficient and effective methods for tabletop and soft-apparel styling
• Stays current with styling trends and innovations to share on a regular basis with the team
• Maintains product integrity and quality, handling all samples in a responsible way and keeping any damage to a minimum.
• Keeps studio prep and photography areas clean and organized.

• A superb eye for style, visual composition and attention to detail

• Avid interest in pursuing a career in product/still-life styling
• Can excel and thrive in a studio environment that straddles both a high-volume workflow as well as a traditional editorial/lifestyle environment
• Experience with the following skills is a plus: tabletop styling, apparel soft-styling, and on-location product styling (some experience with men’s and women’s apparel preferred)
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends and irregular hours
• Degree in fashion design, merchandising, marketing, and/or a related field is a plus
• Portfolio and/or sample images of your work would be beneficial
