Facilitators from two local Restorative Justice Programs (Victim Offender Dialogue & Calgary Community Conferencing) will introduce the principles of Restorative Justice and will offer an opportunity to see an example of how a RJ program can work in the community.
Level I Activity: This activity presents an overview of Restorative Justice, and would best meet the needs of families and/or professionals with little to no knowledge of, or experience with this topic.
This session is presented by the Community Education Service of the Child and Adolescent Addictions and Mental Health Portfolio (CAAMHP) of Alberta Health Services and the Calgary John Howard Society.
