Dormitory Residences
Accommodating 350 students, Frank Grisdale Hall is dormitory styled with the majority being
double-occupancy rooms spread over three floors.
Our large housing facility offers lots of space to roam so you never feel cooped up.
As a resident you are free to:
- Relax in front of a large fireplace in 'Time Square'
Bring your lap top and enjoy the computer cafe atmosphere and wireless internet service in 'Time Square'.
- Catch your favourite program in the TV lounge.
- Hit the books with other students in the study lounge.
Everyone, from the people at the Reception Desk to Campus Security, is there to help you by keeping the building secure, providing a word of advice or just being a friendly face you can count on.
About the Dorm Rooms
You will likely share a room with another student, although some single rooms are available. Each room has a bed, desk, chair, dresser, closet and bookshelf for each student. Men's and women's washrooms are located in centralized areas on each floor. Coin-operated laundry machines and telephones are located throughout the building. Wireless internet is available in Time Square, internet service in the rooms is through the phone line using the provider of your choice.
We try to pair you with the roommate of your choice. If you do not indicate a roommate on the application, we do our best to match you with a compatible person.
Room & Board Costs
Students who live in Frank Grisdale hall must be on one of the Student Housing Meal Plans. (As per 2012 - 2013 fee schedule)
Example #1: Costs based on double occupancy with the Continuous Dining Meal Plan 1. Sunday night to Friday Lunch.
- Rent: $266/month
- Meal: $496.80/month for prepared meals and continuous dining within weekly plan restrictions.
- Utilities: $0
Example #2: Costs based on double occupancy with Continous Dining Meal Plan 2. This plan allows continuous dining all week.

- Meal: $531.20/month for prepared meals and continuous dining.
