Horticulture Diploma
The Horticulture Programs at Olds College continue in a tradition of educational excellence in Environmental and Production Horticulture. A Horticulture Diploma will give you the technical and business training you need as well as a credential that is recognized and respected in the horticulture industry. The horticulture diploma program constitutes the first two years of the Bachelor of Applied Science in either Landscape Management or Production Horticulture Majors.
All Olds College horticulture diploma students take a core of courses in plant, soil and environmental sciences as well as communications, management and business practices. These are complemented by additional specialized courses that provide breadth and depth in each program and major. The Olds College landscape pavilion, greenhouse complex and extensive grounds and botanic garden provide living laboratories in applied horticulture.
