Fashion Marketing

This program is offered at THE FASHION INSITUTE, Calgary Campus!

Fashion marketing is a dynamic career choice for someone who enjoys fashion and working with people in a diverse and demanding industry. This eight-month Fashion Marketing Certificate is offered in-class at our Calgary campus. Studies can begin in either semester.

The program provides both in class theory and hands-on training from experienced instructors. The fashion courses cover a range of relevant topics including visual design and merchandising, retail operations, the principles of marketing, introduction to image consulting and more. The program has a practicum placement where students gain valuable industry experience. 

Graduates of the Olds College fashion program work in fashion marketing & merchandising roles at prominent stores or fashion related organizations across Canada and worldwide.

School Year Dates 2013

Fall Term - August 19 - November 29, 2013
Work practicum will take place in December and January.
Winter Term - February 3 - May 16, 2014

Field Trip To Palm Springs 2013 (Additional Costs Apply)

We are planning a trip to Fashion Week in Palm Springs California, March 2013. Sound exciting?

The last assignment that you will do is to put on a fashion show, so we thought it would be great to see professional shows at Fashion Week, while enjoying the glorious sunshine in California.
