Canada’s construction and oil/gas industries employ an arrangement of giant heavy machinery operators. These machines are designed to move extreme weight with raw power. Some of equipment may include a skid steer, compactor, loader, dozer, grader and excavator. The Heavy Equipment Operator program is constructed to ensure entry level operators attain a professional standard in a twelve week program which includes a two week practicum. All of the equipment used in our program is supplied by Olds College industry partners. The classes boast a high instructor to student ratio to ensure hands on opportunity for all students.
