Vegetable Crop Production

You will learn about soils, climate, equipment management and marketing of vegetable crops on the Canadian Prairies. Get acquainted with the common needs of various groups of crops ranging from pole to vine crops. Completion of this course will provide you with the knowledge from which to draw extensively
in establishing a vegetable enterprise, managing an existing operation, performing various duties with another grower’s business or in advising others on vegetable production.

Note: It is recommended that students complete Applied Botany and Soils for Horticulture before registering in Vegetable Crop Production.
