Funding Model

Since 1999, applied research activities have expanded significantly at OCCI, through increased support and involvement from Olds College itself, learners, staff, industry partners and funding organizations. In this regard, OCCI has received support from many organizations, including NSERC, CFI, Western Economic Diversification and the Government of Alberta. OCCI provides research services for industry partners on a fee for service basis, and will assist industry in leveraging research funding from alternate sources and funding agencies. Project Funding Opportunities

There are many federal and provincial funding programs for applied research activities. Many of the programs require certain levels of partner cash and in-kind contributions.
