94th Olds College Graduation Ceremony, Saturday June 19, 2010
You are invited to participate with your classmates, on Saturday, June 19, in the honour and festivities of Graduation 2010.
- There is no limit to the number of guests you may invite to the ceremony.
- There is no charge for the ceremony.
Some events and activities are scheduled to take place in the Health and Wellness Centre – Ralph Klein Centre and the Olds College Alumni Centre. There is ample free parking available on the campus grounds. No parking passes are required on weekends.
Gowning and Ceremony Information for Graduating Students
Graduating students and guests may enter by the West Entry to the Ralph Klein Centre.
Gowning starts at 1:00 p.m. Graduates receive an academic gown and stole at the gowning area to wear during the Ceremony. Please do not bring personal items (such as purses) to the gowning area.
Dress for the occasion is semi-formal: pants, shirt and tie, or simple day wear dresses. For your comfort we suggest that you wear cool clothes for the ceremony. Note that if you wear shorts your bare legs will be visible below the gown hem.
You will be handed a ceremonial diploma case as you cross the platform during the Ceremony. Pick up your actual parchment (if eligible) when you have returned the graduation gown back to the collection point in the gowning area.
Pictures are permitted during the ceremony. A professional photographer will also be available before and after the ceremony to take professional photos. No advance appointment necessary.

Graduation Champagne Brunch
Your Students Association is putting on a Graduation Champagne Brunch in the Alumni Centre. Come for the food and to see your friends! Bring your family! It’s first come – first served, so get your tickets early.
- Tickets must be purchased in advance, first-come, first-served.
- $17.50 (non-refundable) per person.
- Kids 5 years and under are free.
Tickets are available from the Cashier’s Desk in Business Services Office in DMP. Fax or mail or drop off your ticket order.

Accomodation
A block of rooms at Olds College Residence is set aside for graduates and their families for the nights of June 18 and 19, 2010.
- A single room is $43.60 per night.
- A double occupancy room is $32.70 per person per night.
- Meals are available on an a-la-carte basis only.
